In other TF2 news, a worldwide Team Fortress 2 Free Weekend will begin Friday at noon PDT, and will include access to the new content released today in the TF2: Gold Rush Update. Using the functionality made available through Steam and Steamworks, all of the files needed to join the Free Weekend are available for pre-loading now.

The Free Weekend is open to players around the world, and there is no obligation to purchase to participate; all that is needed is a Steam account to join.

well i tried it and tbh i dont really like it too much its hard to kill with a standard smg (medic) and also can fire a rocket launcher direct at someone and still it dont kill em but it looks fun i took a couple of screenies will get them up on the site once i cba to convert them from tga ;#'

Same here, its fun for 10 minutes but as you move like you've shit your pants its a no for me.
Only class that moves quick is the scout but even he is running like he just got surgery on his hemorro?ds.
