If its gonna have plasma guns and silly stuff then its not ww2 is it...and its not rtcw neither.

see i think they are trying to bend in a direction of ETQW but also trying to keep the real game play of RTCW, after seeing the screen shots of the Plasma wepons and the general layout it seems like RTCW, ET, ETQW and Quake all in one, i persoanly think they should just keep it sweet and simple make a few updated touches to the game and that should work fine. We all loved the original RTCW so let hope they just dont mix up a load of games to make a rushed release of the new RTCW 2!!!! **::**

i have also been TOLD that RTCW 2 will use the same engine as ETQW and also will feature the same Megatecture as ETQW, With all the talk about New maps and updates for ETQW tbh its not gonna happen the words that was used was " we got bigger fish to fry" and then i was send a link to quake con 08. It seems like full steam ahead now for the developers and hopefully it will live up to what we were promised, I have also asked why the long time frame for the game and its just down to the next gen of games, they dont want it to be like ETQW and yet if they release before jan 09 then it will get burried under all the new gen of games for 2009 soooo........ let keep fingers crossed!!!:74:

looks more like ETQW than RTCW. too early too make assumptions on how its going to play but i don't like the look of it already. cba with the futureistic weapons on a WWII game. :74:

aye, I've managed to find bit later where's this Wolf poster located :)))
Too bad they doesn't ship to Latvia... Amazon.com has pre-sale too, but atm only at USA.... DAMN!
Hope our local megastores will have pre-sele too... I wanna be the 1st to have this new Wolf! :D
Played all known addons to this game, even made a collection with my own review on each addon for torrent tracker...that was worth it...but that was some 3 years ago...btw people still downloading this torrent at tracker :)

well heres the link to the official forums even there and now so close to release it's really vague but theres a post in the forums there that gives more detail about the multiplayer side of the game which frankly is all i care about.

From what i read on the forums they are taking it back to basics with the multiplayer. No conformation on what weapons will be available but most likely the uber overpowered weapons will be limited to single player oh and no vehciles cause apparently there only for stat whores :D. Although that said there is mention of no ranked servers so the servers will be handed back to the admins which should provide plenty of variety and customization :D
