Hi all:
We all know this is probably the biggest issue for having funny games, i dont start this post to beach/troll about it, but to give the regurals on server the chance to express their opinion (i hope this post will be hot one, else... -*-)
We all know the only way to prevent stack is to be smart and go against it, so please regular players on server, if you see thats gonna happen change to the weak team even knowing you gonna loose the round, but maybe the match is worth to be played :))))))

To the topic, i must say, that moki is the only player, that isnt in my friendlist, that changes sides without asking, but by seeing that one is weaker then the other... Its kinda disturbing... that makes 5 people alltogether... XD

I dont know why the way i see it the better the players u go up against the better u are going to get in the long run...(play vs noobs all the times and soon enoth you will become one) Thats what i think anyways.
Also a game ant wroth playing if its not challenge im mean surly the aim of the game is to complete the objectives and on a + side for yourself to get better.
There was a while ago i could remeber if i went up against Air i would died and he would still have say 40-60 health left now adays i jsut wait round coner for 3 other team members then kill him lol no now he usally gets up close to dead like 10-30 health on a gd day if not dead...
thanks lazy i told you long time ago you are a good player and improving, and yes I´m a kamikaze machine i dont care on waiting for others if there is a job to be done, a lot of red dots on my radar then there we go kill them all ..... :))))))
The more a player kill you, the more you must try to kill him. When i was a kid (:))))))) 11 or so, i started playing chess, i play everyday against the same guy and for 2 years i loose all the matches, now i can say: "i play chess."
I have posted most of this on other threads . Team stacking is a problem because it usually leads to an unbalanced game . Lets not even call it team stacking but rather that one side has more experienced players than the other . Sometimes it is very obvious before round starts that it will be unbalanced just by looking at the ranks . Or because you have been playing the previous rounds and nothing has changed with the teams . Sometimes even with a lot of the higher ranks on one side they still lose badly . I know rank isn't a definitive indication of skill but usually it is of experience at least . At other games it doesn't become apparent until midway through the game that it is unbalanced .
There are some players that will generally swap to balance the game and others that never will . One of the problems however is that if the sides are already balanced in NUMBERS (12 v 12 etc) you cannot actually move team unless you go to spec and manage to convince one of the other team to swap . Given that a lot of noobs and newbies don't even read team chat , there isn't a whole lot you can do except maybe hold back from contributing much to the game for your side. So I think one of the main things that might help is making the newbies read team chat . The noobs will just carry on being noobs . (The mission system doesn't really help much there either )

I said this before, enjoy the good games, forget about the rest, do your best for balance ingame, and dont let your ego do something stupid.
PS I change sides a lot , but i´m only infantery so i can really change fate of battle. *-*
Meh. I think OMS is one of the few servers which often has balanced games. The basic problem on most servers is that so many people (including experienced players) chase objectives, so unless it's the Euro campaign, they join GDF. And it only takes 2-3 good players on one team to make the game imbalanced.
Due to the objective whoring,if GDF are losing, there is much whining, but if strogg are getting humped, most GDF players don't care as they are getting their precious objectives.
OMS is an exception as if a few of the regs are on, we'll mass switch to even things up (whichever way is needed) - those are usually good games. But most of the time I stick to strogg and hope what little skill I have can help :P

His laptop does not work with the gamehes got his mobil broadband hes got a laptop hes even got ET:QW game but they dont all work together and i blame Air

Well, usually on OMS, imho, its either balanced or very very very unbalanced. But the average player skill is so high on oms, that at least for me, even in extremely unbalanced games (no matter which side), its always fun.
i always liked OMS because of the "non-intervention" of Admins (re-shuffling etc every map -> doesnt add to "balance at all") but i guess thats mainly because Trieb is so lazy (good thing!).
Do not balance before all players join map start
and play for 1 min
why ?
sometimes because 1 team sucks we have players who disconnect
in next map 2-3 good players change team but now we have again
teams who sucks because from the first team always all good players
stay and from the second team most of them join the first and the
map ends in 5 min we can see that in sewer stack stroggs join gdf
If you see a good player to join in 1 team do not join the same team
stay in your team and fight if the enemy team have problem after 5 min
say 1 guy to join specs and join the team who have problem.
Dont call stack 1 game if the gdf dont go to obj but they xp whoring
just think "now we play cod4 teamdeathmatch" and have fun ;#'

Well if other team is moaning of stacked i dont mind changing to help them out even though im not much help but if it helps stop them moaning stack and get on with game i will change. As i dont care for loose win death ect lets just have fun and enjoy the game like its ment to be if you cant beat them GIVE THEM HELL TILL THE END...
Balance... you can have balance in your socks if half of the team likes turism outside and in the other half are only newbies and me.

First welcome to the m8s i still havent meet in battlefield.. :))))))
Second: I give up with the topic, a dont care anymore a lot about balance in the server, not saying i will allow a 12-6 game, but pick a side and go along with it; lately the more i try to balance the server the more my FUN factor ratio goes down, even finish some rounds piss off and disconeccted.
Think the point is OMS is by far the best server for gaming ;#', what brings best players around, and this makes nearly impossible to have balance going on all time, lucky me most off my friendlist are rambo/meds :)))))), but lately i find myself fighting them too often ...:0)'

I'm still laughing my ass off when I see a full server, starting new campaign, 18 spec for a minute or so, then finally the game starts by 6 players and 2 disconnect or goin spec because they don't want to be on the shite side (mostly the Strogg side). I join to even up the crap, and there is a Strogg full hold on the first objective. Those games I see more and more and I refuse to make an useless switch over to them childish whiners that moan about "the game is unbalanced". They are the "stick to the team" individuals that bail out as soon the last minute is counting down. Well I've seen enough so-called teamplay that they are even have the guts to plant/construct/hack/whatever with 4+ players more. Unbalanced means imo uneven teams by 2+ players less... Don't trust ranks because they all use smurf-accounts. Don't even teams for the easy win if it is in it's final stage... that's even worse. For the rest I leave it up the responsibility of players themselves... join the better team for a evening of laming around, or fight your ass off and loose a close game. OMS have enough of them both. Nothing out of the ordinary, all pubs have them playing.

@trieb - cheers for the offer but I always feel guilty about some poor mug being kicked.
I'm back with my "old school" tag now (crispy.) Seeing the chat about the old Jolt servers brought back good memories from the ET and wolf days.
Oh and don't spoil the fun of us low rankers against smug supreme rulers of the universe :p besides it is pretty easy to spot real low ranks from those with a bit more experience!
I'm always a bit surprised how worried some SC ranks are about their stats with disconnects, going into spec etc - its not so bad on OMS though.

I can say noyhing i wasnt there, but lately seems many people finish piss off after some games, which makes laught coz i already pass my 3 weeks crisis as a**** :)))))) and really enjoy last matches with a good fun factor.
PS. Having back bubba in server has no price, another difficult frag to fight for, but please bubba come along to reload side from time to time; dont stay so close to your beloved lacerator :-)
